Responsibilities

• *Summary** \-

The role is responsible for setting, operating, and monitoring CNC turning machines to manufacture precision sealing components in line with engineering drawings, control plans, and customer specifications.

• *Responsibilities:**

• CNC Operation \& Setup: Operate and set up CNC machines as per technical drawings and production requirements.
• Quality Control \& Inspection: Inspect finished components to ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
• Process \& Production Support: Support production activities, troubleshoot machine issues, and ensure smooth workflow to meet production targets.
• Safety \& Compliance: Follow workplace safety procedures, machine operating guidelines, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

• *Education and Experience:**

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in CNC Turning operations, including tool setting, insert selection, and tool life management.
• Experience in machining and turning of metal or polymer components.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, control plans, and work instructions.
• Fluency in Kannada and English.

• *Competencies:**

• Ability to operate CNC turning machines, understand machine functions, and follow standard operating procedures.
• Competency in setting up tools, selecting suitable inserts, setting tool offsets, and ensuring correct component positioning.
• Understanding insert grades, tool selection, cutting parameters, tool wear, and tool life management.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, understand dimensions, tolerances, symbols, and machining requirements.

Attention to detail and quality orientation.

Ability to work in shifts and with minimal supervision.

Effective communication and team coordination.
