### **Yugabyte DB Engineer**

We are looking for a skilled **Yugabyte DB Engineer** to design, deploy, and manage distributed SQL database environments. The role involves ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance of mission\-critical applications using **YugabyteDB**.

### **Key Skills required**

• Deploy, configure, and manage **YugabyteDB clusters** in cloud/on\-prem environments
• Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize queries
• Ensure **high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery**
• Work closely with application teams for **database design and integration**
• Automate routine DBA tasks using scripting/tools
• Handle upgrades, patching, and capacity planning
• Implement **security, backup, and data governance practices**
• 3\-5 years of experience in **database engineering/administration**
• Hands\-on experience with **YugabyteDB / distributed SQL databases**
• Strong knowledge of **PostgreSQL / Cassandra concepts**
• Experience with **cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)**
• Good understanding of **HA/DR, replication, and sharding**
• Scripting knowledge (Shell / Python)
• Familiarity with **Kubernetes / containerized environments** is a plus

### **Good to Have**

• Experience in **BFSI or large enterprise environments**
• Exposure to **DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines)**
• Knowledge of **monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)**

• Strong problem\-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast\-paced, collaborative environment
