To manage and strengthen the cost accounting framework of the organization by accurately determining product costs, monitoring manufacturing expenses, analyzing variances, improving profitability, supporting budgeting processes, and ensuring effective cost control across procurement, production, inventory, and export operations. The role will support strategic decision\-making through robust MIS and cost analytics. Jaipur Rugs operates through a large artisan and weaving network and manufactures hand\-knotted rugs using wool, silk, and cotton\-based inputs.
- *Cost Accounting \& Product Costing**
- Develop and maintain standard costing systems for hand\-knotted, hand\-tufted, and other rug categories.
- Calculate product\-wise, design\-wise, and customer\-wise profitability.
- Determine material, labor, weaving, finishing, dyeing, and overhead costs.
- Analyze actual vs. standard costs and investigate variances.
- Monitor artisan/weaver production costs and efficiency metrics.
- *Inventory \& Material Cost Management**
- Monitor costing of wool, silk, cotton, Viscose, dyes, and other raw materials.
- Track inventory aging, slow\-moving stock, and wastage.
- Ensure compliance with Ind AS and company inventory valuation policies.
- *Budgeting \& Forecasting**
- Assist in preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Prepare manufacturing cost budgets and departmental expense budgets.
- Conduct variance analysis against budgets and recommend corrective actions.
- *MIS \& Profitability Analysis**
- Prepare weekly \& monthly cost reports and management dashboards.
- Provide SKU\-wise, collection\-wise, and export market profitability reports.
- Support pricing decisions through detailed cost analysis.
- Generate margin analysis for domestic and international sales channels.
- Ensure compliance with Cost Accounting Standards and applicable regulations.
- Support statutory audits, internal audits, and cost audits.
- Maintain documentation related to costing systems and inventory controls.
- Coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities.
- *ERP \& Process Improvement**
- Work closely with ERP teams for cost module optimization.
- Strengthen cost allocation methodologies and reporting automation.
- Improve data accuracy and reporting efficiency.
- *Educational Qualifications**
- CMA (ICMAI) – Mandatory / Preferred.
- CA Inter / CA with strong costing exposure may be considered.
- 5 Years and above experience in after CMA
- Experience in export oriented manufacturing industry.
- Hands\-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
