Job Summary

HYPERBRIDGE – The Reel Factory is looking for a **creative and skilled Video Editor** who has a strong eye for storytelling, visual composition, pacing, and **professional color grading**.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about video content and capable of transforming raw footage into engaging, high\-quality content for social media, digital campaigns, advertisements, and brand projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit engaging videos for **Instagram Reels, YouTube, advertisements, social media, and digital campaigns**.
• Transform raw footage into creative, visually appealing, and engaging videos.
• Understand the content requirement and create edits that match the brand's tone and objective.
• Apply **creative editing techniques**, including transitions, pacing, effects, text animations, sound design, and visual storytelling.
• Perform **proper color correction and color grading** to achieve a professional and consistent visual look.
• Maintain consistency in color, exposure, skin tones, contrast, and overall visual quality.
• Work closely with the **content, creative, production, and social media teams** to understand project requirements.
• Coordinate with the shoot team when required to understand footage, shots, and creative direction.
• Select the best takes, footage, music, sound effects, and visuals for the final edit.
• Create multiple versions and formats of videos suitable for different social media platforms.
• Stay updated with current **video editing trends, social media formats, transitions, effects, and visual styles**.
• Ensure projects are completed within the required timelines and maintain high\-quality output.
• Take creative feedback positively and make revisions based on project requirements.

Requirements

• **0–2 years of experience** in video editing, post\-production, or a related field.
• Strong creative understanding of **video editing and visual storytelling**.
• Good knowledge of **color correction and professional color grading**.
• Strong understanding of pacing, composition, transitions, music, sound effects, and storytelling.
• Experience creating **short\-form content/Reels** is preferred.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as **Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, Final Cut Pro**, or similar tools.
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of social media video formats and aspect ratios.
• Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A strong **creative portfolio/showreel** is preferred.
