*Project Role Description :** Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high\-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

Minimum **3** year(s) of experience is required

Develop, enhance, and maintain applications on IBM iSeries (AS400\) using RPG (RPG III/IV/ILE, RPG Free), CL, and COBOL.

Work with DB2/400 databases, including data modeling, SQL queries, and performance optimization.

Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues within SLA timelines.

Collaborate with cross\-functional teams (architects, business analysts, QA, and project managers).

Support code reviews, testing, documentation, and release management.

Ensure compliance with client standards, security policies, and industry regulations.

5–8\+ years of hands\-on experience with IBM AS400 development.

Strong expertise in RPG (RPG III, IV, ILE, Free\-format), CL, and COBOL on AS400\.

Proficiency with DB2/400 database design, queries, and stored procedures.

Knowledge of integration techniques (APIs, web services, MQ, file transfers).

Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills.

Experience in SDLC processes: requirement gathering, coding, testing, deployment.

Good communication and collaboration skills with onsite/offshore teams.
