Summary

As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of bespoke software solutions. This role requires guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position focuses on establishing development standards and ensuring that the software produced meets high benchmarks for quality, scalability, and performance. Collaboration with various stakeholders to align technical efforts with business goals is a key aspect, along with continuous evaluation and refinement of processes to drive successful project outcomes.

Roles \& Responsibilities

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance software quality and efficiency.
• Mentor and support team members to foster professional growth and technical excellence.
• Coordinate cross\-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration of software components.
• Monitor project progress and proactively address any technical challenges or risks.

Required Skills :\-

1\. Custom development with use of AWS infra (Python, NodeJS), patterns, good practices

2\. Very good knowledge of AWS features, mostly about running custom code and storing data (Lambda, EC2, ECS, Glue, S3, EventBridge)

3\. Development of Docker packaged apps and running them on AWS

4\. Design of custom applications, AWS infrastructure required to run it and integrations

5\. Atlassian Suite

6\. GenAI\-enabled IDEs (Kiro, Claude etc.)

7\. Experience with data processing applications and considerations related to processing high volumes of data in AWS

8\. Experience in integrations, use of REST API, system\-to\-system authentication

9\. experience with use of Salesforce APIs and in building integrations with Salesforce (not must but great added value)

10\. At least basic knowledge of relational and no\-SQL DBs

Professional \& Technical Skills

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in AWS Application Integration, Python (Programming Language), Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of cloud\-based integration services and architecture patterns.
• Experience with designing scalable and resilient software systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues and optimize performance.
• Familiarity with automation tools and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
• Excellent problem\-solving skills with a focus on delivering robust software solutions.

Additional Information

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in AWS Application Integration.
• This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
