Customer tech Support + Developer (Remote, Part-time)

About us

We’re an Australian company that sells PC parts and builds custom PCs. You’ll be the person customers talk to about orders, builds and warranty claims, and you’ll build tools that save our team time.

Schedule

28 hours a week: 3 days of 8 hours and 1 day of 4 hours

Work from home

Hours: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM Adelaide time (ACST/ACDT, depending on the season)

Pay: ₹17,500 per month

What you’ll do

Answer customer enquiries by email, chat and social media (calls where needed)

Handle warranty claims end to end: verify the order, log the issue, and arrange repair, replacement or refund with suppliers

Troubleshoot PC hardware and software problems (no boot, no display, overheating, drivers, compatibility)

Build and maintain internal tools and automations: warranty tracker, order lookups, invoice workflows, reply systems

Write secure code: validate inputs, protect customer data and API keys, and handle logins and access correctly

Spot and report scams and fraud, such as phishing emails, fake warranty claims and chargeback attempts

Keep clear records and short documentation for everything you build

Review and maintain our account security: strong passwords, two\-factor authentication and access limits

Required

Solid PC hardware knowledge from day one. No training provided.

Real coding ability in Python or JavaScript. You can explain every line you write, and you’ve built a working tool you can show us.

Security fundamentals: you understand common vulnerabilities (injection, weak authentication, exposed secrets, insecure file handling), how to store customer data safely, and how phishing and social engineering work. Familiarity with the OWASP Top 10 is expected.

Independent learner, good internet and a working laptop

Not what we want: code copied from an AI tool that you can’t explain, debug or secure. You may use AI tools to speed up your work, but you are responsible for understanding and securing everything that goes into our systems.
