Cywarden is a cybersecurity and technology firm that advises, implements, and runs security programs for enterprise clients across industries. Our teams in the United States and India deliver security advisory, cloud and security implementations, and 24x7 cyber and technology operations, including SOC, NOC, and managed IT infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Cywarden also builds an AI agentic cybersecurity platform that uses AI agents to automate security and compliance work, deployed inside each client's own cloud tenant so their data stays in their environment.

• *The role**

Cywarden is hiring a full\-time Cybersecurity Intern for our onsite Mohali team. You will work alongside SOC and security engineering staff on real client monitoring, detection and hardening work, using tools such as Microsoft Sentinel, Wazuh and Google Cloud security services. This is a hands\-on learning role with defined responsibilities and mentorship from senior analysts.

• *What you will do**

• Alert triage support. Review incoming SIEM alerts in Sentinel and Wazuh, document initial findings, and escalate suspicious activity to Tier 2 analysts using the runbook.
• Log analysis. Query and correlate endpoint, network and cloud logs to confirm or rule out suspected incidents, and record the evidence you used.
• Vulnerability scanning and reporting. Run scheduled scans, validate findings to remove false positives, and prepare prioritized remediation summaries for engineers.
• Detection rule testing. Help test and tune detection rules and use cases, noting false positive rates and suggesting adjustments to senior engineers.
• Threat intelligence research. Track new vulnerabilities, advisories and attacker techniques, map them to MITRE ATT\&CK, and brief the team on those relevant to client environments.
• Cloud security configuration review. Check Google Cloud and Microsoft cloud settings against baseline benchmarks such as CIS and log deviations for follow\-up.
• Documentation and runbooks. Write and update investigation notes, runbooks and knowledge base articles so procedures stay accurate and repeatable.
• Training and mentored projects. Complete assigned lab exercises, tool training and a small supervised project, and present your results to the team.

• *Required qualifications**

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, firewalls)
• Basic understanding of operating systems, especially Linux and Windows, and the command line
• Familiarity with core security concepts: the CIA triad, common attack types, authentication and encryption
• Clear written English and the ability to document findings accurately
• Able to work onsite full\-time in Mohali

• *Preferred skills**

• Hands\-on practice from home labs, CTFs, TryHackMe or Hack The Box
• Exposure to a SIEM or log tool such as Wazuh, Splunk, Elastic or Microsoft Sentinel
• Basic scripting in Python or Bash
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT\&CK and the OWASP Top 10
• Entry\-level certification such as Security\+, CEH or Google Cybersecurity Certificate
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (Google Cloud, Azure or AWS)

Pay: ₹15,000\.00 \- ₹18,000\.00 per month

Work Location: In person
