Detail\-oriented Data Analyst to transform business data into actionable insights

The ideal candidate will analyze large datasets

Build reliable reports and dashboards, identify trends and data\-quality issues, and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to support data\-driven decision\-making

Extract, clean, transform, and validate large structured and semi\-structured datasets using SQL, Python, Pandas, and PySpark

Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and business opportunities.

Develop, maintain, and optimize interactive Power BI dashboards, KPI reports, and ad hoc analyses for business stakeholders.

Translate business questions into clear analytical requirements, metrics, and reporting solutions.

Write and optimize complex SQL queries against relational databases and cloud data warehouses such as Azure Synapse, Snowflake, MSSQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

Collaborate with data engineers, data architects, and application teams to ensure data accuracy, pipeline reliability, and consistent business definitions.

Identify and resolve recurring data\-quality issues to improve reporting accuracy and reliability.

Build and document data models, metric definitions, report specifications, and dashboard documentation.

Use Excel features such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and macros to support analysis and reporting.

Present insights and recommendations to technical and non\-technical stakeholders through clear visualizations and concise data storytelling.

Support automation, self\-service analytics, and continuous improvement of reporting processes. Required Qualifications

Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, validation, and performance tuning.

Hands\-on experience with Python, including Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.

Strong experience creating dashboards and reports in Power BI; Tableau experience is an asset.

Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and macros.

Strong understanding of data cleaning, data validation, data\-quality checks, and reporting accuracy.
