We are a growing supermarket and wholesale business with multi\-location operations across Kerala. We are looking for a detail\-oriented and analytical **Data Analyst** to support business performance, improve operational efficiency, and enable data\-driven decision\-making.

Job Overview

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting business data related to sales, inventory, purchasing, finance, and operations. You will prepare reports and dashboards, identify trends and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to support management decisions and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze sales, inventory, purchasing, and operational data to identify trends and business opportunities.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports, dashboards, and performance summaries.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales, margins, stock movement, inventory turnover, and profitability.
• Develop and maintain reports using MS Excel and business intelligence tools.
• Use data visualization tools such as Power BI to present insights clearly.
• Work with relevant teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely reporting.
• Identify performance gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Support sales forecasting, inventory planning, budgeting, and business planning.
• Assist management in making informed, data\-driven decisions.
• Maintain data confidentiality and follow company reporting standards.

Required Qualifications \& Skills

• **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is an advantage.
• **Experience:** Relevant experience in data analysis, MIS reporting, business intelligence, or a similar role is preferred.
• **MS Excel:** Strong proficiency in advanced Excel, including PivotTables, lookup functions, formulas, and data analysis.
• **Technical Skills:** Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, and data visualization tools is an advantage.
• **Analytical Skills:** Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
• **Business Understanding:** Knowledge of retail, FMCG, supermarket, or wholesale operations is preferred.
• **Attention to Detail:** Strong commitment to data accuracy and quality.
• **Communication:** Ability to present findings clearly and work effectively with different departments.
• **Problem\-Solving:** A proactive approach to identifying issues and recommending improvements.
