About the role: Work in partnership with stakeholders across, IT, Global Data \& Analytics, FBT, and Castrol business units (PUs, Hubs, Functions, and Markets) to motivate change, adoption, and long\-term sustainability of the Castrol data ecosystem. Champion the behaviours and practices required to deliver strategic transformation, ensuring data capabilities are sustainable, scalable, and aligned to the Digital Business Strategy. Operate fluently within agile delivery models, with the flexibility to act as SME, Product Owner, or Scrum Master depending on project needs and scale. Working alongside business partners in, IT, Global Data \& Analytics, FBT and Castrol’s PUs, HUBs, Functions and Markets to manage the change, the adoption and the sustainability of the Castrol Data eco system. Role is fluent in operating agile methodology and can act as an SME, product owner or scrum master based on the subject and/or scale of project Shift Timing: 1:30pm to 10:30pm/ 2:30pm to 11:30pm IST Key Responsibilities: Across all data areas across all major ERPs, source systems and digital landscape: * Manages the Design of the Castrol data eco system, Data taxonomy alignment, Data Archetyping, Snowflake data modelling and ensuring sustainability and agile CI through\-out its lifecycle, documented and supported by the Data Management Framework. * Governs the Data Management Framework repository (Data Quality, Data Governance, Data Modelling, data compliance and data security) for all data areas across all the main ERPs and source systems and digital landscape. * Governs data challenges for digital, Data and Analytics frame defined by Castrol data strategy, IT, Global Data \& Analytics team, FBT and Castrol’s PU, HUB, Functions and Markets and applies knowledge of end to end Digital, Analytics and Data strategic view of the Data Management framework, across all impacted functions/business areas and hand\-offs to ensure accuracy, a balanced digital or data solution is designed, which optimises business performance and supports excellence in the Castrol customer offer. * Acts as an Integrator for interfacing internal and 3rd party data connected to the Castrol Data Fabric ensuring alignment to the Castrol strategic digital agenda and supports the capability of the future. * Recommend the above to Global data analytics team lead, lead process specialist and to business stakeholders * Recommend CI opportunities, capability development and toolkit to the Digital Operational Excellence Manager and business stakeholders Experience \& Qualifications: * Degree level education in analytical field, preferably engineering (or 10 yrs\+, relevant experience) * Demonstrable deep experience of successfully delivering ERP data strategy and ETL transformation as part of a major ERP implementation, Enterprise Data lake delivery and major business transformation projects. * Deep understanding in multiple Data areas and the integration points with other data and process areas to ensure successful delivery of end to end with relevant experience in data modelling, data lineage, data normalisation and data process design. * Deep understanding of turning data into insights to demonstrate end to end lineage and normalisation demonstrating fluent use of queries, data models and Power BI. * Be able to bring an insightful story and speak with confidence in owned area. * Tenacious in getting issues resolved and collaborative solution\-oriented thinking while balancing Digital Business strategy and Data Management frameworks Skills \& Competencies: * Strategic agile problem solver and leader * Expertise in one or more ERP systems (SAP/R3, SAP/S4, JDE) * Skilful in navigating and extracting from ERP data layers and ERP lineage assessments. * Skilful in insights generation using visualisation tool like Power BI * Skilful in managing data modelling tools like ERStudio * Work across multiple levels of detail: data lineage, data normalisation, data quality (simple \& complex), data security, process design principles, operating model intent and systems design * Strong influencing skills to bring expertise and experience to shape value delivery * Proven leadership skills and track record of successful deployment in multiple areas, across input and output success criteria measures The most important Castrol Behaviours for successful delivery in this role are: Respect \- Build strong relationships based on trust and honest discussion Excellence \- Learn and apply the standard processes of Castrol, act with professionalism and strive for excellent execution One team \- Support those I work with and help to build the effectiveness of my team to deliver the best results At bp, we support our people to learn and grow in a diverse and challenging environment.
