As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust data delivery systems within our data warehouse infrastructure. This data will be used for generating visual dashboards and reports that empower teams to gain deeper insights into trends and opportunities. We are looking for a Data Engineer with hands\-on experience implementing technical solutions as part of a greater data transformation strategy.
This role is responsible for the sourcing, manipulation, and delivery of data from enterprise business systems — including Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics, and SQL Server — to our data lake and data warehouse, using Python and modern data pipeline frameworks. **Your Role Responsibilities and Duties:**
- Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics.
- Develop and manage data warehouse architectures with effective data modelling, transformation logic, and schema design.
- Build and maintain data pipelines that ingest from Salesforce CRM, Pardot marketing automation, Google Analytics, and SQL Server databases into the data lake.
- Leverage Python for scripting, automation, data wrangling, and API integrations across enterprise systems.
- Automate complex data workflows using orchestration tools and CI/CD via Azure Git.
- Connect Pardot and Google Analytics data to the warehouse to enable unified marketing performance reporting.
- Collaborate with BI analysts, data scientists, and application teams to deliver end\-to\-end data solutions.
- Ensure data quality, compliance, and traceability through logging, validation rules, and proper metadata management.
Document data flows, security policies, model definitions, and ML/NLP implementations.
- At least 3\+ years of analytics engineering / data engineering, with minimum 2 years of experience in architecting and solutioning ·
- Expert\-level skills with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Synapse Analytics.
- Advanced SQL and T\-SQL knowledge via SQL Server; strong experience with stored procedures and performance tuning.
- Practical experience with Salesforce data extraction using SOQL, REST/Bulk APIs, or connectors such as Informatica.
- Familiarity with Pardot APIs and syncing marketing data (campaigns, prospects, activities) into a centralised data store.
- Hands\-on experience integrating Google Analytics (GA4\) data exports via BigQuery or the GA4 Data API for downstream reporting.
- Strong Python skills; proficiency with Pandas, SQL Alchemy, Requests, and relevant data engineering libraries.
- Knowledge of ML/NLP workloads using tools like MLflow, PySpark, and Databricks Notebooks.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and well\-governed data solutions.
Proficiency in Python for scripting ETL logic, REST API calls, data cleaning, and pipeline automation
