• *Job Summary**: We are looking for an experienced Mid\-Level Data Engineer to join our tax product software development team. As a Mid\-Level Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable data solutions to support our growing data needs. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, optimize data workflows, and contribute to the architecture of our data systems.

**Responsibilities**

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Implement data governance practices and ensure data quality and integrity.
• Optimize and tune database queries and performance for efficient data retrieval.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support analytical initiatives.
• Lead efforts in troubleshooting and resolving data\-related issues.

• *Requirements:**

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3\+ years of experience in data engineering with proficiency in SQL and Python (or similar).
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL frameworks.
• Experience with cloud\-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Excellent problem\-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of distributed computing frameworks (Hadoop, Spark).
• Familiarity with data modeling and schema design principles.
• Experience with real\-time data processing and streaming technologies.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth.
