We are looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in Azure Data Engineering technologies to design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands\-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, PySpark, Data Warehousing, and modern ETL/ELT frameworks. Experience with SAP BODS and Databricks/Snowflake is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Build and optimize data processing solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks.
• Develop data transformation workflows using PySpark.
• Implement and manage Medallion Architecture for data lakehouse solutions.
• Design and maintain dimensional and relational data models.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and governance standards are maintained.
• Optimize SQL queries and data processing performance.
• Support data warehousing initiatives and reporting requirements.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and CI/CD processes.

Mandatory Requirements

• 6\+ years of overall experience in Data Engineering.
• Minimum 3\+ years of hands\-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Minimum 3\+ years of experience with Azure Databricks.
• Strong experience in ETL/ELT pipeline development using PySpark.
• Hands\-on experience with Medallion Architecture.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with SAP BODS (SAP Business Objects Data Services).
• Strong SQL programming skills.
• Expertise in Dimensional and Relational Data Modeling.
• Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts.
• Hands\-on experience with Databricks and/or Snowflake.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of Spark and Hadoop ecosystems.
• Programming experience in Python, Scala, or Java.
• Exposure to CI/CD practices and DevOps workflows.
• Understanding of Data Governance and Data Quality frameworks.
