\#\# Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Data Modeler with strong insurance domain knowledge to design, develop, and maintain enterprise data models. The role involves working directly with business and client stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable data models aligned with enterprise architecture and governance standards.

\#\# Key Responsibilities

\- Engage directly with business and client stakeholders to understand business requirements and data needs, translating them into scalable enterprise data models.

\- Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for Insurance, including Life \& Annuities and Property \& Casualty domains.

\- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, developers, and data engineers to align data models with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards.

\- Develop subject area models, data dictionaries, metadata, and data lineage documentation.

\- Apply data modeling best practices, naming standards, governance principles, and modeling methodologies.

\- Support data warehouse, reporting, analytics, and operational system initiatives through robust data model design.

\- Perform data analysis, source\-to\-target mapping, and data profiling to support model development and data integration.

\- Review and optimize existing data models for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

\- Participate in data governance initiatives and ensure consistency across enterprise data assets.

\#\# Mandatory Skills and Qualifications

\- 8–10 years of experience in Data Modeling, Data Architecture, or related data management roles.

\- Strong expertise in the Insurance domain, including

\- \*\*Life \& Annuities:\*\* Policy Administration, Claims, Billing, Underwriting, Customer, and Financials.

\- \*\*Property \& Casualty:\*\* Policy, Claims, Risk, Coverage, Premiums, and Reinsurance.

\- Hands\-on experience with ERwin Data Modeler or other leading data modeling tools such as ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, SAP PowerDesigner, or Enterprise Architect.

\- Strong knowledge of conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling techniques.

\- Expertise in OLTP and OLAP data model design principles.

\- In\-depth understanding of normalization, denormalization, and Normal Forms (1NF through 5NF).

\- Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including

\- Star Schema

\- Snowflake Schema

\- Fact and Dimension Modeling

\- Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD Types 1, 2, and 3\)

\- Experience creating enterprise data models, canonical data models, and integration data models.

\- Strong SQL skills and ability to analyze complex data structures across multiple source systems.

\- Understanding of data governance, metadata management, Master Data Management (MDM), and data quality concepts.

\#\# Good\-to\-Have Skills and Qualifications

\- Experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, or Google Cloud.

\- Knowledge of insurance industry data standards

Pay: Up to ₹3,000,000\.00 per year
