Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced **Delivery Manager** to serve as the dedicated client\-facing lead for a healthcare account. This role involves acting as the primary day\-to\-day point of contact between Bobcares and the client’s IT leadership, ensuring successful delivery and accountability for the Sports Medicine Ordering Portal while overseeing all ad\-hoc digital projects within the engagement.
This role requires a professional who can confidently engage with senior IT leadership, quickly understand healthcare supply chain operations, and effectively coordinate technical teams while serving as a seamless communication bridge between the client and Bobcares. The ideal candidate will provide hands\-on delivery leadership by combining strong client communication, structured project management, and cross\-functional team coordination to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Client Communication
- Serve as the single point of contact for the client’s IT Director on all delivery and project\-related matters.
- Conduct weekly alignment and status calls with stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical briefs for the development team.
- Ensure continuity of communication so leadership never has to repeat the same context twice.
- Maintain proactive communication with stakeholders regarding progress, risks, and dependencies.
Delivery Management
- Own sprint planning, progress tracking, and milestone accountability across the client’s development initiatives.
- Review all deliverables before they are shared with the client.
- Coordinate closely with internal Development, QA, and DevOps teams.
- Track and follow up on all open actions, blockers, and commitments across the engagement.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations.
Process \& Governance
- Define and maintain delivery processes, including standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and delivery reporting.
- Maintain project documentation, decision logs, status reports, and action trackers.
- Coordinate with business users across multiple departments and functions.
- Identify risks proactively and escalate concerns before they impact delivery.
Required Skills \& Experience
Delivery \& Client Management (Must Have)
- 5\+ years of experience in client\-facing delivery, account management, or IT project management roles.
- Proven experience managing cross\-functional technical teams, including Developers, QA, and DevOps.
- Strong experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies, including sprint planning, estimation, tracking, and retrospectives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to senior IT leadership.
- Experience preparing and maintaining project documentation, status reports, and governance artifacts.
- Demonstrated ability to manage client expectations, handle challenging conversations, and rebuild stakeholder trust when needed.
- Exposure to AI\-assisted workflows or digital transformation initiatives.
Domain \& Technical Awareness
- Exposure to healthcare, supply chain, or SaaS product delivery environments is a strong advantage.
- Ability to understand technical architecture discussions and translate them into business\-friendly communication.
- Familiarity with ERP or SAP integration concepts (hands\-on technical expertise not required).
- Experience managing portal or web application delivery projects.
Leadership \& Soft Skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage confidently with senior IT directors and business owners.
- Proactive, structured, and solution\-oriented approach to delivery management.
- Ability to identify and address risks before they escalate to the client.
- Comfortable building structure and processes within evolving or ambiguous engagements.
- Strong asynchronous communication discipline with a focus on documenting decisions and follow\-ups clearly.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience working in managed services or product engineering environments.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira or similar collaboration and project tracking platforms.
- Prior experience managing offshore\-to\-onsite engagement models.
- Understanding of healthcare or medical device industry workflows.
