Job Summary

TREAT is looking for an experienced and responsible **Deputy Manager – Accounts** to manage accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, statutory compliance, banking activities, and financial controls. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, practical experience in GST and TDS compliance, and the ability to manage financial operations independently.

Candidates with experience in the manufacturing or engineering industry will be preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Supervise day\-to\-day accounting operations, general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and financial transactions.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, management reports, and account reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor payments, customer collections, and payment processing.
• Handle GST returns, TDS, TCS, and other applicable statutory filings and payments.
• Coordinate payroll accounting, EPF/ESI accounting, and statutory contribution reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow, bank balances, fund requirements, and working capital.
• Prepare budgets, expense statements, cost reports, and budget\-versus\-actual analysis.
• Coordinate internal audits, statutory audits, tax audits, and financial documentation.
• Verify purchase bills, supplier invoices, expense claims, and supporting documents before processing payments.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with management, auditors, banks, vendors, and other departments on financial matters.
• Supervise and guide the accounts team and ensure timely completion of accounting activities.

Required Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance or an equivalent qualification.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in accounts and finance.
• Manufacturing or engineering industry experience will be an added advantage.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Practical experience in GST, TDS, TCS, and statutory compliance.
• Expertise in bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, and vendor/customer account reconciliation.
• Knowledge of budgeting, cash flow management, and cost control.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and team management skills.
