Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result\-oriented Senior Insurance Manager to lead insurance business operations and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate should possess comprehensive knowledge of end\-to\-end insurance processes, including lead generation, client acquisition, policy advisory, broker management, underwriting coordination, documentation, policy issuance, and claim support.
The candidate should have hands\-on experience across multiple insurance products such as Life Insurance, Term Insurance, Health Insurance, Motor Insurance, and General Insurance, with a proven track record of successfully closing deals and managing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:Business Development \& Lead Generation
- Generate leads through personal networking, referrals, channel partners, brokers, and corporate tie\-ups.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase insurance sales and revenue.
- Identify new business opportunities and build a strong customer pipeline.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
Client Relationship Management
- Understand clients' financial and insurance requirements.
- Recommend suitable insurance solutions based on customer needs.
- Maintain long\-term relationships with clients and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular client meetings and presentations.
Insurance Sales \& Deal Closure
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to policy issuance.
- Coordinate with insurance companies and brokers for quotations and policy approvals.
- Negotiate terms and close high\-value insurance deals.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Broker \& Insurance Partner Coordination
- Maintain strong relationships with insurance companies, brokers, and channel partners.
- Coordinate with underwriters for policy approvals and risk assessments.
- Ensure smooth communication between clients and insurance providers.
Policy Servicing \& Claims Support
- Assist clients with policy renewals and endorsements.
- Support clients throughout the claim process.
- Resolve policy\-related queries and escalations promptly.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.
Documentation \& Compliance
- Review client documents and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure adherence to IRDAI regulations and company policies.
- Monitor policy issuance, renewals, and claim documentation.
Required Skills \& Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Life Insurance, Term Insurance, Health Insurance, Motor Insurance, and General Insurance products.
- Excellent understanding of end\-to\-end insurance operations.
- Proven experience in lead generation and business development.
- Strong negotiation and deal\-closing abilities.
- Experience working with brokers, insurance companies, and channel partners.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem\-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage a team.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field.
- Professional certifications in Insurance or Financial Services will be an added advantage.
- Existing network of brokers, agents, and corporate clients preferred.
