Job Title: Design Engineer – Home Automation

We are looking for a detail\-oriented Design Engineer to develop electrical layouts, lighting designs, and home automation drawings for residential and commercial projects. The candidate will work closely with architects, interior designers, project managers, and installation teams to deliver accurate and practical design solutions.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Prepare electrical layouts, lighting layouts, power layouts, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD.
• Develop home automation system designs for smart lighting, motorized curtains, HVAC control, sensors, keypads, and other integrated systems.
• Prepare automation schematics, control panel drawings, cable schedules, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Design lighting layouts and coordinate lighting control requirements.
• Prepare MEP drawings and coordinate electrical layouts with mechanical and plumbing services.
• Incorporate KNX, Crestron, and Lutron systems into home automation designs, as required.
• Review architectural and interior design drawings to ensure accurate system integration.
• Coordinate with project and installation teams to resolve design\-related issues.
• Revise drawings based on site conditions and project requirements.
• Maintain design documentation and ensure drawings meet project specifications.

• *Required Skills and Qualifications**

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–4 years of relevant experience in electrical design, home automation, or MEP design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of electrical layouts, wiring diagrams, lighting design, and control systems.
• Familiarity with home automation technologies such as KNX, Crestron, or Lutron.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, electrical, and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of BOQ preparation, cable schedules, and technical documentation.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem\-solving skills.

• *Preferred Experience**

• Residential and commercial interior projects.
• Smart home automation and lighting control systems.
• KNX, Crestron, Lutron, DALI, or other automation protocols.
• ELV systems, HVAC integration, and motorized curtain control.
