• *Job Summary**

We are looking for an experienced **Design Engineer** with strong expertise in **Fixture Design**. The ideal candidate should have hands\-on experience in designing **welding fixtures, checking fixtures, assembly fixtures, machining fixtures, and inspection fixtures** for automotive and industrial automation applications. Experience in SPM machine design will be an added advantage.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Design and develop welding, checking, assembly, machining, and inspection fixtures.
• Prepare 3D models and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings using **SolidWorks** .
• Perform fixture concept development based on customer requirements and process flow.
• Design locator units, clamp units, rest units, pin units, base structures, and pneumatic clamping systems.
• Prepare complete BOM, assembly drawings, child part drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
• Ensure fixture accuracy, repeatability, accessibility, and ease of maintenance.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Assembly, Quality, and Project teams during fabrication and assembly.
• Support fixture trials, debugging, installation, and customer approvals.
• Implement design modifications based on trial results and customer feedback.

• *Required Skills**

• Strong experience in **Fixture Design** (Mandatory).
• Hands\-on experience in **Welding Fixtures, Checking Fixtures, Assembly Fixtures, Machining Fixtures, and Inspection Fixtures**.
• Proficiency in **SolidWorks, Creo, and AutoCAD**.
• Knowledge of **GD\&T, tolerance stack\-up, and manufacturing processes**.
• Understanding of pneumatic components and standard mechanical elements.
• Ability to prepare manufacturing drawings and BOM.
• Good analytical, problem\-solving, and communication skills.

• *Preferred Experience**

• Experience in Automotive Fixture Design.
• Knowledge of BIW (Body\-in\-White) fixtures is preferred.
• Experience in SPM and Industrial Automation projects is an added advantage.

• *Qualification**

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
