Fireescape Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is one of India's leading manufacturers of firefighting vehicles, fire ladders, and fire safety equipment. The company specializes in designing and manufacturing customized firefighting vehicles and has supplied over 2,000 fire ladders across India.
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to join our Design \& Engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing firefighting vehicles, fire ladders, fabricated structures, tanks, and related mechanical systems using SolidWorks. The role involves creating detailed engineering drawings, supporting manufacturing activities, and ensuring designs meet customer and project requirements.
- Design and develop firefighting vehicles, fire ladders, tanks, piping layouts, and mechanical assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Create 3D models, assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Modify existing designs as per customer specifications and project requirements.
- Coordinate with production and fabrication teams to ensure smooth execution of designs.
- Support testing, inspection, and commissioning activities.
- Maintain engineering documentation and revision records.
- Assist in product improvement, design optimization, and cost\-reduction initiatives.
- Proficiency in **SolidWorks** for 3D modeling and drafting.
- Good understanding of machine design, fabrication, welded structures, and sheet metal design.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication processes.
- Ability to read and prepare engineering drawings.
- Strong analytical, problem\-solving, and communication skills.
- *Qualification \& Experience**
- B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory)
- **0–3 years** of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering.
- Experience in fabrication, automotive, special\-purpose vehicles, heavy engineering, industrial equipment, or related manufacturing industries will be preferred.
- *Preferred Candidate Profile**
- Hands\-on experience in SolidWorks.
- Exposure to customized product design and manufacturing environments.
- Ability to work closely with production teams and handle multiple design assignments.
- Detail\-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
Pay: ₹20,000\.00 \- ₹28,000\.00 per month
