We are hiring for the position of Design Engineer \- Mechanical at Ikran Aerospace.
Position Details
- Job Title: Design Engineer \- Mechanical
- Department: Engineering \& Design
- Location: Pune HO / Mhavashi \- Khandala
- Reporting to: Sr. Design Engineer / CTO / Technical Head
- Experience Required: 3\-4 years
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and build 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings for mechanical components.
- Apply GD\&T standards, DFM/DFA principles, and material selection optimized for aerospace applications.
- Assist in prototyping, design validation, FEA simulation support, and manufacturing coordination.
- Maintain structured Bill of Materials (BOM) and engineering documentation.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Aeronautical Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech).
- 3 to 4 years of experience in mechanical design (aerospace or high\-precision engineering preferred).
- High proficiency in 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, or Fusion 360\.
- Solid grasp of engineering fundamentals, tolerance stack\-up analysis, and drafting standards.
