Design Engineer - Retail Display & Fixture (Night Shift)

• *Overview:** As a Design Engineer specializing in SolidWorks/Rhino at Visual Citi, you will play a pivotal role in the development and execution of custom display solutions, showroom fixtures, POP displays, and prototypes. You will work closely with sales account executives, designers, estimators, production staff, and outside vendors to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• *Key Responsibilities:**

• Utilizing SolidWorks/Rhino to create detailed fabrication drawings for fixtures and displays
• Developing shop drawings and production drawings that adhere to project specifications and requirements.
• Generating instructional drawings for installations, providing clear guidance for assembly and setup.
• Collaborating with the design team to conceptualize and refine display solutions, ensuring functionality, aesthetics, and manufacturability.
• Providing expertise in prototype development, iterating designs to achieve optimal performance and cost\-effectiveness.
• Generating Bills of Materials for projects, ensuring accurate documentation of materials and components required for production.
• Directly interfacing with various stakeholders including sales account executives, designers, estimators, production staff, and outside vendors to facilitate project communication and coordination.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance design processes, workflows, and quality standards.

• *Required Skills \& Qualifications:**

• **4\+ years of experience in retail design or a similar role**
• **Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industry Design, Similar or Equivalent**
• **Expert Proficiency in SolidWorks, or Rhino, Google Sketchup, Key Shot, CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator and other relevant CAD software.**
• Previous experience in design engineering, preferably in the field of displays, fixtures, furniture and or in exhibition booth or related industries.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, strong know how of materials, and fabrication techniques.
• Detail\-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in design documentation.
• Experience in the signage industry and knowledge of architectural scales, sections, plans, and elevations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn and implement new technologies and methodologies.
• **Excellent communication in English, and time management skills, with adaptability to fast\-paced environments and strong ethical conduct**

Pay: ₹45,000\.00 \- ₹80,000\.00 per month
