• *Summary**

UST is seeking a passionate and driven **Software Engineer** with hands\-on experience in **Python, Java, Selenium, and modern front\-end technologies such as Angular or React**. The ideal candidate will contribute to software development, test automation, and application support activities while collaborating with cross\-functional teams to deliver high\-quality software solutions.

• *The Opportunity**

As a Software Engineer, you will be involved in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise applications and automation solutions. You will work across the software development lifecycle, contributing to both application development and quality engineering initiatives while gaining exposure to modern technologies and best practices.

### **Key Roles \& Responsibilities**

• Develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications using Python and Java.
• Build and enhance responsive web application components using Angular or React.
• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium.
• Participate in application development, unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution activities.
• Analyze technical requirements and contribute to system design discussions.
• Troubleshoot application issues and perform root\-cause analysis for defects and production issues.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and business teams to ensure quality deliverables.
• Support automation initiatives to improve test coverage and software quality.
• Participate in code reviews and implement coding best practices.
• Ensure compliance with software development standards and established processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, test documentation, and knowledge artifacts.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to development and quality engineering.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand\-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

• *What You Need**

### **Requirements**

• Hands\-on experience in Python and Java development.
• Experience with Selenium automation testing.
• Knowledge of Angular or React for front\-end development.
• Basic understanding of Object\-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design principles.
• Familiarity with web application development and modern web technologies.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing fundamentals.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem\-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within collaborative Agile teams.
