### **Strong Hands‑On Development Expertise**

• Deep, hands‑on software development experience in at least one of Go, Java, or Python (with the ability to work across others when needed)
• 5\+ years of professional experience as a Software / Application Development Engineer, with substantial time spent writing and maintaining production code
• Demonstrated ability to lead by example through code, not just design or reviews

### **Design, Architecture \& System Ownership**

* Proven experience designing, building, and owning

+ Backend services and APIs

+ Shared libraries, frameworks, or internal platforms

+ Scalable, reliable, distributed systems

* Strong command of

+ Core software design principles (OOP, SOLID, clean architecture, modular design)

+ System design, service boundaries, and architectural trade‑offs

+ Scalability, performance optimization, and fault tolerance

### **Engineering Fundamentals \& Quality**

* Strong foundation in

+ Data structures, algorithms, and problem‑solving

+ Writing efficient, maintainable, and testable code

+ Code quality, automated testing, documentation, and maintainability

* Experience owning features or systems through the full lifecycle

+ Technical design and reviews

• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex production issues
