Devops Lead

About the Role

We are looking for a hands\-on DevOps Engineer to build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes deployments, and Azure infrastructure across Non\-Production and Production environments. The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in deployment automation, cloud infrastructure, containerization, and troubleshooting, along with a clear understanding of release management, security, and operational best practices. The candidate must be proactive in identifying deployment risks, resolving infrastructure issues, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure reliable, secure, and consistent software releases.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD,
• or GitHub Actions.
• **Deploy, configure, and manage microservices on Kubernetes, preferably Azure**
• Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Manage Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, networking, storage,
• access controls, and environment configurations.
• **Perform Linux administration, application deployment troubleshooting, log**
• analysis, and basic performance monitoring.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform,
• ARM/Bicep templates, or Ansible.
• **Manage container images, Docker configurations, container registries, and**
• deployment manifests using Kubernetes YAML and Helm charts.
• Implement deployment strategies, including rolling updates, health checks,
• rollback procedures, and environment\-specific configurations.
• **Follow established change management, release management, security, and**
• access control practices.
• Monitor application and infrastructure health, identify configuration drift, and
• support incident resolution.
• **Collaborate with Product Engineering, QA, SRE, Infrastructure, and Architecture**
• teams to support smooth and reliable releases.
• Maintain deployment documentation, operational runbooks, pipeline
• configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
• **Identify opportunities to improve deployment automation, pipeline efficiency,**
• infrastructure reliability, and operational consistency.Requirements
• 4–5 years of hands\-on DevOps experience in software development or enterprise
• IT environments.
• **Strong practical knowledge of Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.**
• Hands\-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and preferably Azure AKS.
• **Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, infrastructure configuration,**
• networking, and identity and access management.
• Good Linux administration skills, including shell scripting and troubleshooting.
• **Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform,**
• ARM/Bicep, or Ansible.
• Familiarity with Git, branching strategies, pull requests, and source code
• management practices.
• **Experience with Helm charts, Kubernetes manifests, secrets management, and**
• application configuration.
• Understanding of monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting using tools
• such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
• **Knowledge of deployment security, vulnerability management, access controls,**
• and production change management.
• Strong problem\-solving, analytical, documentation, and cross\-functional
• communication skills.

Nice to Have

• We need a hands\-on DevOps Engineer who understands the technology behind the
• deployment, not someone who simply executes pipeline instructions.
• You should be able to independently troubleshoot pipeline failures, investigate
• infrastructure and Kubernetes issues, understand the impact of configuration changes,
• and follow established security and release management practices.
• You must take ownership of assigned tasks, proactively identify potential risks,
• document changes, and collaborate effectively with senior DevOps engineers and
• application development teams.
• Automation, deployment reliability, security, and disciplined execution are non\-
• negotiable.

Pay: ₹201,000\.00 \- ₹2,630,000\.00 per year
