About the Role

Noble University invites applications from experienced and dynamic professionals for the position of Director – IT. The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership for the University's IT infrastructure, digital transformation initiatives, academic technology systems, and IT operations while supporting the University's academic and administrative objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• **IT Strategy and Leadership:** Develop and implement the University's IT strategy, policies, and technology roadmap in alignment with institutional goals.
• **IT Infrastructure Management:** Oversee campus\-wide IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, data centres, cloud services, internet connectivity, and end\-user computing.
• **Academic Technology:** Support and enhance digital learning platforms, Learning Management Systems (LMS), smart classrooms, laboratories, and technology\-enabled teaching and learning.
• **University ERP and Applications:** Manage and improve university information systems, including ERP, student information systems, admission systems, examination systems, HRMS, and other administrative applications.
• **Digital Transformation:** Lead automation, digitization, and integration of academic and administrative processes.
• **Cybersecurity and Data Protection:** Establish IT security policies, access controls, data protection measures, backup systems, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity procedures.
• **Team Management:** Lead, mentor, and develop IT teams while ensuring effective coordination with academic departments and administrative units.
• **Vendor and Budget Management:** Manage IT budgets, procurement, vendor relationships, service\-level agreements, and technology investments.
• **IT Support and Service Delivery:** Ensure reliable IT services, timely issue resolution, system availability, and effective technical support across the campus.
• **Compliance and Reporting:** Ensure IT operations follow applicable regulatory requirements, institutional policies, and relevant standards.
• **Innovation and Research Support:** Promote emerging technologies, AI\-enabled solutions, data analytics, and research computing wherever appropriate.

Educational Qualifications and Experience

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant discipline.
• 10–15 years of teaching and academic experience, preferably at the level of Professor or Associate Professor.
• Relevant industry experience in IT management, technology leadership, infrastructure, software systems, or digital transformation.
• Demonstrated experience in managing IT teams, institutional technology projects, or large\-scale IT operations.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision\-making abilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, cloud computing, databases, and enterprise applications.
• Experience with university ERP systems and digital education platforms will be an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, vendors, and cross\-functional teams.

Pay: ₹80,000\.00 \- ₹150,000\.00 per month
