E-commerce Reverse Engineer & AI Research Developer

We are looking for a technically curious and resourceful E\-commerce Reverse Engineer \& AI Research Developer who can research, analyze, understand, and recreate innovative technologies and features from existing e\-commerce platforms.

The role involves exploring how successful websites, applications, and AI\-powered products work, understanding their underlying functionality, and developing similar or improved solutions for our e\-commerce ecosystem.

You will research emerging technologies, analyze website behavior, inspect APIs and frontend interactions, experiment with AI tools, and turn interesting discoveries into functional applications.

We are looking for someone who enjoys exploring how things work, solving technical challenges, and building solutions from scratch.

• *Key Responsibilities1\. Website \& Application Reverse Engineering**

• Analyze existing e\-commerce websites and applications to understand their functionality and technical behavior.
• Inspect frontend components, network requests, API responses, and user interactions.
• Understand how product discovery, search, filtering, recommendations, and other website features work.
• Identify technologies, frameworks, and implementation approaches used by existing platforms.
• Recreate similar functionalities with improvements in performance, usability, and customer experience.

• *2\. AI Technology Research \& Experimentation**

• Research emerging AI technologies, tools, models, and frameworks.
• Explore AI\-powered features such as visual search, image recognition, virtual try\-on, and personalized recommendations.
• Experiment with LLMs, computer vision, and AI automation technologies.
• Evaluate third\-party AI solutions and identify opportunities to build customized alternatives.
• Develop technical prototypes to test new ideas and concepts.

• *3\. Feature Replication \& Development**

• Convert research findings into working applications and prototypes.
• Recreate useful features observed in competitor websites and third\-party platforms.
• Develop frontend components and backend functionality.
• Integrate APIs and third\-party services.
• Improve existing features by identifying better technical approaches.

• *4\. Technical Research \& API Analysis**

• Analyze publicly accessible APIs and application communication.
• Use browser developer tools to inspect network activity and application behavior.
• Understand REST APIs, webhooks, authentication, and data structures.
• Work with browser automation and web scraping where appropriate.
• Document technical findings, workflows, and implementation approaches.

• *5\. E\-commerce Innovation**

• Research new technologies that can improve online shopping experiences.
• Study competitor websites to identify useful features and opportunities.
• Explore product discovery, intelligent search, visual shopping, and personalization.
• Identify opportunities to improve storefront functionality through technology.
• Collaborate with the AI and development team to implement successful experiments.

• *Required Technical Skills**

• Strong programming knowledge in Python and JavaScript.
• Understanding of frontend technologies such as React, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with browser developer tools and network inspection.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP requests, and JSON responses.
• Experience with Playwright, Selenium, or similar browser automation tools.
• Understanding of web architecture, frontend\-backend communication, and databases.
• Ability to analyze existing application behavior and recreate functionality.
• Strong debugging and problem\-solving skills.

• Experience with Shopify and e\-commerce platforms.
• Knowledge of AI/LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini.
• Familiarity with computer vision and image recognition.
• Experience with web scraping and data extraction.
• Knowledge of reverse engineering tools and techniques.
• Experience with AI\-powered search and recommendation systems.
• Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks.
• Understanding of browser automation and website performance analysis.

Pay: ₹500,000\.00 \- ₹700,000\.00 per year
