About the Company
We are setting up a modern manufacturing facility for FIBC (Jumbo Bags), Block Bottom Bags, and technical packaging products in Surat. As part of our commitment to building a highly efficient, data\-driven manufacturing operation, we are looking for an experienced and proactive **EDP / ERP \& IT Incharge** to lead ERP support, MIS reporting, data management, and plant IT infrastructure.
Role Summary
The EDP / ERP \& IT Incharge will be responsible for managing and supporting the company's ERP systems, IT infrastructure, MIS reporting, and data management processes. The role requires close coordination with management, production teams, stores, purchase, sales, accounts, dispatch, software vendors, and IT service providers to ensure accurate data flow and effective system utilization across the organization.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of ERP systems, manufacturing processes, IT infrastructure, and reporting requirements, with the ability to drive digitalization and process improvement initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesERP \& Software Management
- Support implementation, configuration, testing, and day\-to\-day operation of ERP/software systems across all departments.
- Coordinate with ERP/software vendors for issue resolution, customization, report development, and user support.
- Monitor ERP data accuracy and ensure timely transaction entries.
- Manage user access rights, system controls, and process compliance.
- Assist in developing system\-based workflows to reduce manual operations.
Data Management \& Master Data Control
- Maintain and update item masters, BOMs, customer masters, vendor masters, machine masters, process parameters, and user profiles.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of master data across systems.
- Monitor data quality and identify missing, duplicate, or incorrect entries.
MIS \& Reporting
- Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly MIS reports for management.
- Generate reports related to:
- Production performance
- Inventory and stock status
- Purchase and consumption analysis
- Dispatch and pending orders
- Machine utilization and efficiency
- Rejection, wastage, and quality metrics
- Develop dashboards and analytical reports to support management decision\-making.
Data Entry Operations Management
- Supervise and guide Data Entry Operators (DEOs).
- Ensure timely and accurate entry of production, inventory, dispatch, purchase, and quality data.
- Conduct user training and system awareness sessions.
- Establish data verification and validation procedures.
IT Infrastructure Management

- Ensure regular system and database backups.
- Maintain user permissions and access controls.
- Support basic cybersecurity and data protection practices.
- Monitor system performance and coordinate troubleshooting activities.
Process Improvement \& Digitalization
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes.
- Improve plant\-wide data visibility and reporting efficiency.
- Support implementation of barcode\-based inventory tracking and digital production monitoring systems.
- Contribute to building a structured and technology\-driven manufacturing environment.
Candidate ProfileEducation
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Applications, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant certifications in ERP, Networking, IT Infrastructure, or Data Analytics will be an advantage.
Experience
- 3–8 years of experience in EDP, ERP Support, MIS, IT Administration, Manufacturing Software, or related functions.
- Experience in manufacturing industries preferred.
- Exposure to FIBC, woven sacks, plastics, extrusion, weaving, printing, stitching, packaging, or textile manufacturing will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and manufacturing software.
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Lookups, Data Analysis, and Reporting.
- MIS report preparation and data analysis capabilities.
- Understanding of production, inventory, purchase, dispatch, and quality processes.
- Knowledge of hardware, networking, printers, scanners, and basic troubleshooting.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with vendors and internal users.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
Preferred Skills
- ERP implementation or migration experience.
- Knowledge of barcode systems and inventory tracking solutions.
- Experience with Power BI, dashboards, or reporting tools.
- Understanding of manufacturing KPIs and operational analytics.
- Basic database or SQL knowledge will be an advantage.
