• *Position Overview**

• **Job Title:** EDP Executive (Electronic Data Processing Executive)
• **Location:** Irugur Factory, Coimbatore
• **Experience Required:** Up to 5 Years
• **Salary / CTC Offered:** ₹35,000 to ₹45,000 per month (Take\-home salary based on profile and competency)
• **Department:** Information Technology / EDP

• *Key Roles \& Responsibilities**

• **Networking \& Infrastructure Management:**
• Maintain, manage, and troubleshoot factory local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), routers, switches, access points, and firewalls.
• Ensure seamless network connectivity across the factory floor, administrative blocks, and production units.
• Manage structured cabling, network racks, Wi\-Fi deployment, and IP configuration across factory systems.
• **Systems \& Data Management:**
• Oversee day\-to\-day Electronic Data Processing (EDP) activities, data entry/validation systems, and database backups.
• Assist in maintaining and supporting ERP / software applications used in factory operations.
• Ensure routine data backup, routine system updates, data security, and disaster recovery procedures.
• **Hardware \& Peripheral Support:**
• Support and maintain factory hardware infrastructure including desktops, laptops, industrial barcode printers, scanners, and CCTV monitoring systems.
• Troubleshoot IT hardware, software, and peripheral issues to minimize operational downtime on the shop floor.
• **Vendor \& Escalation Management:**
• Coordinate with ISP providers, hardware vendors, and service contract partners for timely resolving of network or hardware outages.
• Maintain documentation and inventory of IT equipment, network diagrams, user licenses, and hardware maintenance logs.

• *Candidate Profile \& Required Skills**

• **Technical \& Networking Skills:** Hands\-on experience in networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Routers, Switches, LAN/WAN setup, VPNs, Firewalls, Wi\-Fi management, and Network Cabling).
• **System Administration:** Knowledge of Windows/Linux OS management, data security protocols, and backup solutions.
• **Troubleshooting:** Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve hardware, network, and software glitches promptly in a factory environment.
• **Work Experience:** Up to 5 years of relevant hands\-on experience in an EDP / Network / System Administration role, preferably in a manufacturing plant or factory setup.
• **Attitude:** Proactive, organized, and capable of working independently in a fast\-paced factory setting.
