- *EHS Manager – Taste and Wellbeing: Your Future Position?**
As **EHS Manager** for **Taste \& Wellbeing (T\&W)** sites in India, you will lead the Environment, Health \& Safety agenda by ensuring regulatory compliance, managing operational risks, and promoting a strong safety culture aligned with business goals and corporate standards.
You will report directly to the Head of Operations, SAMEA, and will be based in Pune.

- Lead and strengthen Environment, Health \& Safety (EHS) strategy, systems, culture, and compliance across multiple Taste \& Wellbeing sites in India, ensuring alignment with business priorities, operational excellence, and applicable legal and corporate requirements.
- Partner closely with business and site leadership teams to advise, influence, and drive actions that create and sustain a safe, compliant, and high\-performing work environment.
- Drive process safety and operational risk management programs, including PHA, PRA, PSSR, HIRA, ergonomics assessments, hazardous material management, statutory compliance, and environmental monitoring activities.
- Ensure effective implementation of EHS governance through internal audits, Gemba Walks, compliance reviews, and robust emergency preparedness programs, including Site Emergency Plans and drills.
- Foster a proactive safety culture by promoting reporting of unsafe acts and conditions, leading incident investigations, and ensuring timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to support continuous improvement.
- Lead the development and deployment of impactful EHS training programs, awareness campaigns, and employee engagement initiatives to strengthen accountability and safety ownership at all organizational levels.
- Oversee EHS\-related procurement, contractor safety management, PPE compliance, and monitoring of EHS CapEx initiatives to ensure operational and regulatory requirements are met.
- Mentor and develop site EHS teams while collaborating with cross\-functional stakeholders to embed EHS principles into day\-to\-day operations and business decision\-making.

- *Your professional profile includes:**
- Bachelor's or master's degree in chemical engineering/chemistry or related discipline, coupled with a CLI/RLI/MSBTE\-recognized Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive EHS experience within Flavour \& Fragrance, Pharmaceuticals (API), Specialty Chemicals, FMCG, or other process manufacturing environments.
- Has at least 2\-3 years of leadership experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading EHS independently within medium to large manufacturing operations, including multi\-site exposure.
- Strong expertise in **process \& workplace safety management** and a proven ability to build and sustain a safety\-first culture across both manufacturing and corporate environments.
- In\-depth knowledge of national and international EHS standards and frameworks, including NFPA, ATEX, IECEx, and applicable statutory requirements.
- Experience with EHS management systems and digital tools, including RCMS, PSM systems, SAP, and other business\-integrated platforms.
- Proven capability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic EHS initiatives within a complex matrix organization.
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant digital tools.
- Fluency in local Indian languages such as Marathi and/or Hindi will be considered an advantage.
- Able to travel between Pune, Mumbai, Daman \& Roha sites.
