Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Electrical/Electronics Engineer to independently lead and manage the Utility Department at our textile manufacturing facility in Falta, West Bengal.

The candidate will be responsible for the smooth functioning, maintenance and operational efficiency of all plant utilities, including DG sets, compressors, boilers, pumps, chillers, HVAC and electrical systems.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, hands\-on maintenance experience and the ability to manage a team while ensuring uninterrupted plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage and lead the complete Utility Department.
• Supervise the operation and maintenance of DG sets, compressors, boilers, pumps, chillers and HVAC systems.
• Ensure preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance.
• Monitor electricity consumption, energy efficiency and utility costs.
• Minimise equipment breakdowns and production downtime.
• Manage electricians, technicians and utility maintenance staff.
• Ensure electrical safety and statutory compliance.
• Plan maintenance schedules and monitor equipment performance.
• Coordinate with production, maintenance and management teams.
• Manage external vendors, contractors and service providers.
• Maintain utility records, reports and maintenance documentation.
• Identify opportunities for energy savings and operational improvements.

Required Qualifications \& Skills

• B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in industrial utility and maintenance operations.
• Experience in handling a utility department in textile or manufacturing industries.
• Strong knowledge of DG sets, compressors, boilers, pumps, chillers and HVAC.
• Good understanding of industrial electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Experience in team handling and departmental management.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and electrical safety.
• Ability to independently handle plant utility operations.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates from textile, manufacturing, spinning, processing or similar industries.
• Experience as Utility Head, Utility Manager, Senior Utility Engineer or Maintenance Manager.
• Should be technically strong and hands\-on.
• Must have experience managing technicians and electricians.
• Should be comfortable working at Falta, West Bengal.

Pay: ₹25,000\.00 \- ₹40,000\.00 per month
