• *About the Role:**

We are looking for a Linux BSP / Embedded Linux Engineer to develop firmware for our nextgenera on Video Doorbells and Video Door Locks. The role involves working on embedded Linux pla orms, camera and audio interfaces, local video storage, network\-based video streaming, and communica on with cloud services. The ideal candidate should have hands\-on experience with embedded Linux, board bring\-up, peripheral drivers, and debugging hardware–soware integra on issues.

• *Key Responsibilities :**

 Linux BSP \& Board Bring\-Up: Configure, build, customize, and maintain Linux BSPs, bootloaders, device trees, and Linux kernels for embedded hardware pla orms.  Camera Integra on: Integrate camera sensors and interfaces such as MIPI CSI\-2, DVP, or USB, depending on the target hardware. Configure and debug camera drivers and video capture pipelines.  Audio Integra on: Integrate microphones, speakers, audio codecs, and audio interfaces such as I2S, USB, or other pla orm\-supported interfaces for two\-way audio communica on.  Video Streaming: Implement and debug video streaming over Wi\-Fi and Ethernet using technologies such as WebRTC and RTSP.  Local Video Storage: Implement video recording and playback using SD cards or other storage media, including file\-system handling and storage reliability.  Network \& Cloud Connec vity: Integrate MQTT\-based communica on for device commands, status repor ng, events, and other IoT func onali es.  Mul media \& Performance: Work with GStreamer, FFmpeg, V4L2, or pla orm\-specific mul media frameworks for video/audio processing, encoding, and streaming.  Hardware–Soware Debugging: Debug boot issues, peripheral interfaces, kernel logs, driver problems, memory usage, and system performance using appropriate development and debugging tools.  Product Reliability: Support system opmiza on, watchdog and recovery mechanisms, OTA firmware updates, and stability tes ng for produc on\-ready devices.

Required Skills \& Qualifica ons  2–3 years of hands\-on experience in Embedded Linux development.  Good understanding of Linux kernel, device trees, bootloaders, and BSP configura on.  Experience with C/C\+\+ programming and Linux\-based development tools.  Familiarity with Linux device drivers and hardware interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO, I2S, USB, or MIPI CSI.  Understanding of TCP/IP, sockets, Wi\-Fi, Ethernet, and basic network debugging.  Prac cal experience with camera integra on, video capture, or mul media frameworks.  Familiarity with Git, cross\-compila on, build systems, and debugging tools. Good to Have  Experience with WebRTC, RTSP, GStreamer, FFmpeg, V4L2, or hardware video codecs.  Experience with ALSA, audio codecs, echo cancella on, and two\-way audio.  Experience with MQTT, TLS, secure communica on, and IoT device integra on.  Knowledge of Yocto Project, Buildroot, U\-Boot, and Linux kernel customiza on.  Experience with SD/eMMC storage, OTA updates, and embedded device security.  Experience with Rockchip, Allwinner, SigmaStar, Amlogic, or similar embedded mul media SoCs. What You Will Work On  Embedded Linux firmware for video doorbells and video door locks.  Camera capture, video recording, and local SD card storage.  Live video streaming and two\-way audio communica on over Wi\-Fi/Ethernet.  Integra on with cloud services and IoT messaging systems.  Hardware bring\-up, firmware opmiza on, debugging, and product reliability. Ideal Candidate: A hands\-on embedded engineer who can bring up an embedded Linux board, integrate its camera and audio peripherals, and help deliver a stable, network\-connected video product from prototype to produc on.

Pay: ₹400,000\.00 \- ₹650,000\.00 per year
