• *Job Description**

Inviting applications for the role of Intern**– Information Security (InfoSec) Services**

The **Consultant – Information Security Services** is responsible for supporting the implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of enterprise security controls across infrastructure, cloud, applications, and end\-user environments. The role works closely with SOC, IT, Cloud, and Compliance teams to ensure security posture, regulatory compliance, and risk reduction.

• *Responsibilities**

• Support **security monitoring, alert analysis, and incident response** in coordination with SOC teams
• Perform **security event analysis**, triage, and escalation
• Assist in **incident containment, remediation, and post\-incident reviews**
• Monitor security posture across endpoints, servers, networks, and cloud platforms
• Conduct **vulnerability scanning and assessment** using approved tools
• Analyze findings, prioritize risks, and track remediation activities
• Coordinate with IT and Cloud teams for **patching and vulnerability closure**
• Validate remediation and maintain vulnerability metrics
• Implement and maintain **security baselines and hardening standards** (CIS, NIST)
• Support **endpoint, server, network, and cloud security configurations**
• Assist with **IAM, MFA, RBAC, and privileged access controls**
• Support **ISO 27001, SOC2, PCI\-DSS, HIPAA, and internal audits**

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• Hands\-on experience in **InfoSec operations or consulting roles**
• Familiarity with **security frameworks and compliance standards**
• Security Operations (SOC processes)
• Vulnerability Management
• Identity \& Access Management (IAM)
• Cloud Security fundamentals
• Tools \& Technologies
• SIEM (Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar – any)
• Vulnerability tools (Qualys, Nessus, Rapid7\)
• Endpoint Security / EDR tools
• CSPM tools (Defender for Cloud, Prisma, Wiz – exposure preferred)
• Cloud \& OS
• AWS / Azure (basic to intermediate security exposure)

• CEH, Security\+, GSEC
• ISO 27001 Foundation / Lead Implementer (preferred)
• Cloud Security certifications (AWS / Azure Security – preferred)
