Engineer Sales (Power Products)

The Engineer – Sales is the Pai Kane Group’s front\-line technical sales representative in the assigned territory, responsible for generating and closing business across the full power products portfolio: diesel and gas generator sets, LV switchboards and panels, distribution transformers and compact substations (CSS), battery energy storage systems (BESS) and allied power products.

The role combines field prospecting with technical selling — understanding the customer’s load and site, proposing the right solution, and following through to order, delivery, payment and customer satisfaction. Business is generated through direct sales, alliance partners and dealers, with a focus on industrial, commercial, infrastructure and institutional customers.

• *Key focus areas**

• Achieve or exceed the territory share of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for orders and

collections

• Sell the full power products basket, not only generator sets — cross\-sell switchboards,

transformers/CSS and BESS on every account

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, contractors and alliance partners
• Ensure healthy margins and timely collection of payments
• Work closely with estimation, projects, service and plant teams to deliver on commitments

• *Duties And Responsibilities**

· Lead generation and conversion: prospect new and existing customers; conduct

· load studies and site inspections; ensure correct selection of genset rating, panel

· configuration, transformer/CSS and BESS sizing; prepare techno\-commercial offers

· and close orders.

· Organise a minimum of 10 product presentations per month.

· Key account and project tracking: stay in regular contact with project\-based

· customers, EPC contractors, MEP consultants and developers; track enquiries and

· tenders from early stage to order.

· Sell through direct sales, alliance partners and dealers as per the company’s sales

· strategy.

· Order execution and collections: coordinate with internal teams for timely dispatch

· and delivery; ensure collection of payments as per terms; clear outstanding dues.

· Support dealers and alliance partners on order collection and payment follow\-up.

• *Qualifications**

• Diploma or degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (degree preferred)
• Technical training on generator sets, LV switchboards, transformers/CSS and BESS (provided by the company where required)

Pay: ₹35,000\.00 \- ₹45,000\.00 per month
