Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail\-oriented **Equity Research Intern** to join our research team at The Trading Mitra, a SEBI\-registered Investment Advisory and Research Analyst firm.

The selected candidate will work closely with experienced Equity Research Analysts and gain practical exposure to stock market research, company valuations, financial analysis, and investment research.

Key Responsibilities

• **Equity Research Reports:** Assist in preparing detailed company research reports, including fundamental analysis, financial performance, business models, and valuations.
• **Equity Analysis:** Analyse listed companies, financial statements, quarterly results, annual reports, and management commentary.
• **Data Management \& Analytics:** Regularly update financial databases, Excel sheets, stock trackers, and research data. Analyse historical financial and market data.
• **Sector \& Industry Analysis:** Research industry trends, sector performance, growth opportunities, competitive landscapes, and key market developments.
• **Research Analyst Support:** Assist senior Equity Research Analysts with company screening, financial modelling, investment research, and report preparation.

Required Skills \& Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed B.Com, BBA, MBA (Finance), CA, CFA, or a related qualification.
• Basic understanding of the stock market, financial statements, and fundamental analysis.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and financial data analysis.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem\-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret financial data and prepare structured reports.
• Good written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and work in a professional equity research environment.
