The Interior Fit\-Out Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for interior fit\-out and finishing projects. The role involves reviewing drawings, specifications, BOQs, obtaining supplier quotations, and coordinating with the sales, design, procurement, and project teams to ensure competitive and profitable bids.

Key Responsibilities

Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs.

Conduct quantity take\-offs from architectural and interior drawings.

Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior fit\-out works including:

Civil works

Gypsum partitions and ceilings

Joinery and carpentry

Flooring

Painting and decorative finishes

Microcement and specialty wall finishes

Glass works

Metal works

Furniture (FF\&E)

MEP coordination (where applicable)

Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

Prepare tender pricing, commercial proposals, and cost breakdowns.

Analyze project risks and recommend cost\-saving alternatives (Value Engineering).

Coordinate with suppliers to ensure pricing is current and accurate.

Maintain an updated cost database for materials, labour, and subcontractors.

Attend pre\-bid meetings and conduct site visits when required.

Clarify tender requirements with consultants and clients.

Prepare variation cost estimates and additional work quotations.

Support the project team with budget information during project execution.

Ensure quotations are submitted within the required deadlines.

Coordinate with procurement after project award for smooth handover.

Maintain confidentiality of pricing and commercial information.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Interior Design, or a related field.

3–5years of experience in interior fit\-out estimation.

Strong understanding of interior materials, finishes, and construction methods.

Experience in commercial, residential, retail, hospitality, and office fit\-out projects.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Ability to read architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Experience with 3D application software.

Familiarity with BOQ preparation and tender documentation must required.
