We are seeking an experienced **HR Generalist** with strong expertise in **Payroll Processing and Statutory Compliance**. The ideal candidate should possess hands\-on experience in end\-to\-end payroll administration, labour law compliance, employee lifecycle management, and HR operations. The role requires a detail\-oriented professional capable of ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to all applicable statutory requirements.
- *Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll Management**
- Manage end\-to\-end monthly payroll processing for employees.
- Coordinate payroll inputs including attendance, leave records, overtime, incentives, deductions, reimbursements, and full \& final settlements.
- Ensure timely salary disbursement with complete accuracy.
- Verify payroll data and resolve payroll\-related discrepancies and employee queries.
- Prepare payroll reports, MIS, and salary reconciliations for management review.
- Coordinate with payroll vendors/software providers, if applicable.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Handle monthly compliance activities related to:
- Provident Fund (PF)
- Employees' State Insurance (ESIC)
- Professional Tax (PT)
- Labour Welfare Fund (LWF)
- Gratuity provisions
- Bonus compliance
- Prepare and maintain statutory registers, records, and documentation.
- Coordinate with government authorities and consultants during inspections, audits, and assessments.
- Monitor statutory due dates and ensure timely filings and payments.
- Manage employee onboarding and documentation processes.
- Maintain employee records and HR databases.
- Generate HR\-related MIS reports and dashboards.
- Handle employee confirmation, transfers, promotions, and separation formalities.
- Process full and final settlements and exit documentation.
- Support HR policy implementation and communication.
- *Audit \& Documentation**
- Assist in internal and external audits related to payroll and compliance.
- Ensure proper filing and maintenance of employee and statutory documents.
- Develop and improve HR processes to enhance operational efficiency and compliance standards.
- *Desired Candidate ProfileQualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources will be preferred.
- **3 to 5 years of relevant experience** in Payroll and HR Compliance.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, automotive, engineering, or similar industries will be an advantage.
- **Strong knowledge of payroll processing and salary structures.**
- **Sound understanding of Indian labour laws and statutory compliances.**
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data analysis, etc.).
- Experience working on HRMS and payroll software.
- Ability to prepare MIS reports and maintain documentation.
