Executive – Structural BIM Modeler

##### **Role Summary**

CS TECH Ai is seeking an Executive – Structural BIM Modeler to develop detailed structural BIM models and construction documentation for building and infrastructure projects, including bridges, viaducts, tunnels, metro stations, and associated structures.

The role involves developing accurate 3D structural models, General Arrangement Drawings (GADs), reinforcement and steel models, construction details, and fabrication\-level deliverables. The ideal candidate will have hands\-on experience in Autodesk Revit, structural modelling, reinforcement detailing, and multidisciplinary BIM coordination, along with an understanding of reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, and structural steel systems.

##### **Key Responsibilities**

###### **1\. Structural BIM Modelling \& Documentation**

• Develop accurate and detailed 3D structural BIM models for infrastructure and building projects.
• Model structures such as bridges, viaducts, tunnels, metro stations, and building structures according to design specifications.
• Generate General Arrangement Drawings (GADs), plans, sections, elevations, and construction details from structural BIM models.
• Develop models to the required Level of Development (LOD) based on project stages and deliverable requirements.
• Ensure structural models and drawings accurately represent engineering design intent and project requirements.

###### **2\. Complex Structural Modelling**

• Develop detailed models of reinforced concrete (RC), prestressed concrete (PSC), structural steel, bridge, and tunnel components.
• Model bridge superstructures and substructures, including relevant structural elements and interfaces.
• Create detailed reinforcement (rebar) models for complex concrete geometries and structural components.
• Develop steel models and associated detailing for structural steel elements where required.
• Maintain model accuracy and consistency across structural components and project deliverables.

###### **3\. Construction Drawings \& Fabrication Detailing**

• Generate structural construction drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication\-level details from coordinated BIM models.
• Prepare reinforcement drawings, steel detailing outputs, and other project\-specific structural documentation.
• Incorporate design revisions and engineering comments into models and drawings.
• Review drawing completeness, dimensions, detailing, and consistency with the approved structural model.
• Support the preparation of construction\-ready deliverables in accordance with project standards.

###### **4\. BIM Coordination \& Collaboration**

• Coordinate structural BIM models with architectural and MEP models to identify and resolve design conflicts.
• Work closely with structural engineers, architects, MEP teams, and other project stakeholders.
• Review model interfaces, spatial constraints, and discrepancies and communicate potential issues to the relevant teams.
• Incorporate coordination feedback and design changes into structural models.
• Support multidisciplinary BIM coordination and timely project delivery.

###### **5\. Terrain Modelling \& Project Integration**

• Develop terrain and site context models where required by project specifications.
• Integrate structural models with relevant site, infrastructure, and surrounding project information.
• Support coordination of bridge, tunnel, station, and building structures with associated site conditions and design interfaces.
• Maintain consistency between structural models and other project datasets.

###### **6\. Quality Assurance \& Project Compliance**

• Perform regular QA/QC checks on structural models, drawings, and detailing outputs.
• Ensure compliance with the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP), modelling standards, LOD requirements, and documentation protocols.
• Review model accuracy, completeness, and consistency before submission.
• Maintain organized models and documentation in accordance with project naming conventions and delivery procedures.
• Address modelling issues and implement corrections within agreed project timelines.

##### **Mandatory Technical Skills**

• Hands\-on proficiency in Autodesk Revit for structural BIM modelling.
• Understanding of reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, and structural steel systems.
• Experience developing structural models for buildings or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of structural plans, sections, elevations, GADs, and construction detailing.
• Understanding of reinforcement modelling and structural component detailing.
• Ability to produce structural shop drawings and construction documentation.
• Familiarity with BIM coordination and multidisciplinary model integration.
• Knowledge of LOD requirements, BIM Execution Plans, modelling standards, and QA/QC procedures.

##### **Preferred Skills**

• Experience working on bridges, viaducts, tunnels, metro stations, railways, or large infrastructure projects.
• Exposure to complex bridge superstructure and substructure modelling.
• Experience with detailed rebar modelling and fabrication\-level structural detailing.
• Familiarity with Autodesk Navisworks or other BIM coordination tools.
• Exposure to terrain modelling and site integration workflows.
• Knowledge of structural steel detailing and prestressed concrete modelling workflows.

##### **Qualifications \& Experience**

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in structural BIM modelling and Autodesk Revit.
• Practical understanding of structural engineering drawings, reinforcement detailing, and construction documentation.
• Ability to coordinate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver accurate project outputs.
