• *Job Summary**

We are looking for an experienced Fabrication Engineer to manage and supervise fabrication activities for the Ambaji Railway Station Project. The candidate should have strong experience in structural steel fabrication, fabrication drawings, site execution, quality control, material management, and installation activities. The role involves coordinating with project managers, site engineers, contractors, and quality teams to ensure that all fabrication work is completed safely, on time, and according to project specifications.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Plan, manage, and supervise all fabrication activities related to the railway station project.
• Read and interpret structural fabrication drawings, shop drawings, GA drawings, and erection drawings.
• Coordinate steel fabrication, cutting, drilling, welding, fit\-up, assembly, and installation activities.
• Ensure fabrication work complies with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable standards.
• Supervise fabrication workers, welders, fitters, contractors, and site personnel.
• Coordinate with structural, civil, mechanical, and project teams for smooth execution.
• Monitor fabrication progress and ensure timely completion as per the project schedule.
• Check material requirements, steel consumption, cutting plans, and material availability.
• Ensure proper utilization of materials and minimize wastage and rework.
• Inspect welding quality, dimensional accuracy, alignment, fit\-up, and finished fabrication work.
• Coordinate with the QA/QC team for inspections, welding procedures, and required testing.
• Maintain fabrication reports, daily progress reports, material records, and inspection documentation.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, lifting, transportation, and installation of fabricated steel components.
• Follow site safety procedures, including work\-at\-height precautions, hot\-work permits, and lifting safety.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to resolve fabrication\-related technical issues.
• Report project progress, delays, material shortages, and technical concerns to the Project Manager.

• *Required Skills and Qualifications**

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in structural steel fabrication and site execution.
• Experience in railway station, commercial building, industrial, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Good knowledge of structural steel fabrication, welding, fit\-up, and erection activities.
• Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings, GA drawings, and shop drawings.
• Knowledge of welding processes, including SMAW, MIG/MAG, and TIG, as applicable to the project.
• Understanding of fabrication tolerances, dimensional inspection, and quality requirements.
• Experience in material planning, manpower management, and work scheduling.
• Knowledge of QA/QC documentation, inspection procedures, and site safety requirements.
• Good coordination, leadership, communication, and problem\-solving skills.

• *Preferred Experience**

• Experience in railway station construction or other major infrastructure projects.
• Exposure to structural steel works, roof trusses, canopies, platforms, steel sheds, and architectural metal structures, as applicable to the project.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and the ability to interpret structural drawings.
• Familiarity with welding inspection, NDT coordination, and material traceability.
• Experience handling subcontractors, fabrication teams, and site installation activities.

• Compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
• Effective manpower and material utilization.

Project Manager / Construction Manager

• *Important Requirement:** The candidate should be willing to work at the Ambaji Railway Station Project site in Gujarat and must have practical experience handling structural fabrication activities, site teams, quality requirements, and project execution.

Pay: ₹10,000\.00 \- ₹45,000\.00 per month
