Job Description

  • *Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Facility Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of office and industrial facilities within a Pharma/Biotech environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, technical expertise in Electrical and HVAC systems, and a proven track record of managing large teams while ensuring operational excellence, safety, compliance, and cost efficiency.

  • *Key Responsibilities**
  • Lead and manage end\-to\-end facility operations for office and industrial facilities.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of critical infrastructure, including Electrical, HVAC, Utilities, and Building Management Systems.
  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Manage facility budgets, vendor contracts, and service\-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive operational efficiency, energy management, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team of 30\+ employees and service providers.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless facility support and business continuity.
  • Handle audits, inspections, risk assessments, and emergency response planning.
  • Monitor facility performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • *Required Qualifications \& Experience**
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or a related field.
  • Minimum 10\+ years of overall facility management experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership/senior management role.
  • Proven experience managing office and industrial facilities, preferably within the Pharma, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or Manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Electrical and HVAC operations and maintenance.
  • Experience managing teams of 30\+ personnel, including vendors and subcontractors.
  • Strong understanding of facility compliance, EHS standards, and statutory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • *Preferred Skills**
  • Experience working in GMP\-regulated facilities.
  • Knowledge of energy management and sustainability practices.
  • Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead cross\-functional teams in a fast\-paced environment.
