HRU India Ecom Private Limited, a growing retail and e\-commerce company in the ladies’ garments industry, is looking for a creative, detail\-oriented, and tech\-savvy Fashion Designer to join our Design \& Sample Development team.

We are looking for someone with strong experience in ladies’ ethnic wear who can combine creativity, market understanding, and modern digital tools to develop commercially successful collection.

KEY RESPONSONSIBILITIES

\* Research fashion trends, customer preferences, colours, fabrics, silhouettes, and market developments.

\* Conceptualize and design seasonal collections for ladies’ ethnic wear, including Kurtis, Salwar Suits, Lehengas, Fusion Wear, and related categories.

\* Develop detailed tech packs, specification sheets, design references, and production\-related documentation.

\* Maintain proper design development, costing, sample status, and related tracking records using Google Sheets.

\* Create professional mood boards, colour palettes, collection presentations, and line sheets using Google Slides.

\* Coordinate closely with the Sampling Team, Merchandisers, and Vendors to ensure accurate execution of designs from concept to final production sample.

\* Review samples, identify design or fitting corrections, and follow up until final approval.

\* Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude for design research, trend exploration, product descriptions, ideation, and workflow efficiency.

\* Ensure designs are creative, commercially viable, and aligned with the company’s brand identity and target market.

REQUIRED SKILLS \& EXPERIENCE

\* 2–3 years of core experience in Fashion Design.

\* Strong experience and portfolio in Ladies’ Ethnic Wear is highly preferred.

\* Good knowledge of fabrics, colours, garment construction, surface design, trims, and current fashion trends.

\* Ability to develop clear tech packs and design specification sheets.

\* Proficiency in Google Sheets for tracking, costing matrices, and design\-related data management.

\* Proficiency in Google Slides for mood boards, collection presentations, and line sheets.

\* Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude.

\* Strong creative thinking, attention to detail, and commercial understanding of fashion.

\* Good communication, coordination, and time\-management skills.

QUALIFICATION

Degree or Diploma in Fashion Design or a related field is preferred.
