About the Role

Jaipur Kurti is looking for a creative and passionate **Fashion Designer** to join our design team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of women's ethnic wear trends, fabric selection, color combinations, garment construction, and market research. The candidate will be responsible for creating innovative collections that align with the Jaipur Kurti brand identity and customer preferences.

Key Responsibilities

• Research current fashion trends, market insights, and customer preferences.
• Develop seasonal collections for women's ethnic wear, including kurtis, co\-ord sets, dresses, and fusion wear.
• Create design concepts, mood boards, sketches, and technical drawings.
• Select appropriate fabrics, trims, prints, embroideries, and color palettes.
• Coordinate with the merchandising, sourcing, sampling, and production teams for product development.
• Prepare detailed tech packs and specifications for sampling and production.
• Review and approve samples, ensuring quality, fit, and design accuracy.
• Conduct fit sessions and recommend necessary design improvements.
• Collaborate with the marketing and e\-commerce teams during product launches and photoshoots.
• Ensure timely completion of collections as per seasonal calendars.
• Maintain documentation of design developments and product specifications.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Fashion Design (NIFT, NID, Pearl Academy, or equivalent).
• 2–5 years of experience in women's ethnic wear or apparel design.
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, embellishments, prints, and embroidery techniques.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or similar design software.
• Excellent sketching and visualization skills.
• Strong creativity with attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of textile development and print creation.
• Knowledge of fashion forecasting and trend analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple collections simultaneously.
• Strong problem\-solving and time management skills.
• Passion for innovation and women's fashion.
