We create content, conversations and business opportunities for salon owners, hairdressers, beauty professionals, educators, brands and aspiring industry talent.

Responsible for writing and developing editorial content across StyleSpeak's print and digital platforms, with growing ownership of stories, research, and cross\-team coordination.

\*Collaborates With:\* Assistant Editor, Design Team, Digital \& Marketing Team, Freelancers

\*Platforms Covered:\* Print Magazine, Website \& Web Articles, Newsletters, Social Media Channels

• *\*Editorial Content Development\***

\- Generate story ideas aligned with the monthly editorial calendar and industry trends

\- Write feature articles, interviews, profiles, case studies, and trend reports for print and digital

\- Produce web\-optimized digital editorial pieces for the website and social channels

\- Maintain StyleSpeak's editorial tone, industry relevance, and factual accuracy across all content

• *\*Editing \& Quality Control\***

\- Proofread and fact\-check own content; support editing of freelance/contributed pieces

\- Ensure tone and style consistency across print and digital formats

\- Work closely with the Assistant Editor on shaping story angles and direction

\*Editorial Planning \& Coordination\*

\- Contribute to the monthly content pipeline for the magazine and website

\- Maintain and track the editorial calendar, ensuring timely completion of assigned stories

\- Coordinate with the design team on layouts, visual storytelling, and page structure for assigned features

• *\*Cross\-Team Collaboration\***

\- Liaise with Digital \& Marketing teams to adapt content for web, newsletters, and social distribution

\- Coordinate with the SEO team to ensure content is optimized for discoverability

\***Stakeholder \& Contributor Support\***

\- Build relationships with salon professionals, brand founders, and industry experts for story leads

\- Coordinate with freelance writers to ensure timely, on\-brief submissions

• *\*Digital, Social \& Event Coverage\***

\- Adapt content for social media and track performance/engagement where relevant

\- Attend trade shows, brand launches, and seminars; produce event coverage and interviews

• *\*Required Experience \& Skills\***

1\. 2–3 years of experience in journalism, magazine publishing, or content writing roles

2\. Proven feature writing and editing ability, with experience across print and/or digital formats

3\. Working knowledge of SEO content principles and digital publishing workflows

4\. Strong interviewing, research, and storytelling skills; ability to manage multiple deadlines

5\. Interest or prior exposure to beauty, wellness, lifestyle, or B2B trade sectors preferred

• *\*Preferred Qualifications\***

\- Experience with trade publications or B2B media

\- Exposure to professional beauty, salon, spa, or wellness industry coverage

\- An existing network of industry contacts is a plus, though not mandatory

Pay: ₹20,000\.00 \- ₹30,000\.00 per month
