Job Description

We are hiring a Key Account Manager (KAM) for Paytm. The ideal candidate should have experience in Banking, NBFC, FinTech, or Financial Services, with strong sales, customer relationship management, and business development skills.

Roles \& Responsibilities

• Acquire new merchants and build relationships with shopkeepers, retailers, and business owners.
• Promote Paytm's digital payment solutions, including QR codes, Soundbox devices, and POS machines.
• Explain product features and benefits to potential merchants and encourage adoption.
• Manage existing merchant relationships and improve engagement.
• Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to business growth.
• Identify cross\-selling and upselling opportunities for relevant financial products.
• Conduct merchant visits and follow\-ups as required by the role.
• Maintain accurate sales reports, merchant records, and onboarding documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams to address merchant queries and service issues.

Required Skills \& Qualifications

• Graduate preferred.
• 1–4 years of relevant experience in Banking, NBFC, FinTech, or Financial Services.
• Experience in sales, merchant acquisition, customer acquisition, or relationship management.
• Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with sales targets and business development goals.
• Knowledge of digital payments, QR codes, UPI, or POS products will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate Background

Candidates with experience in financial product sales, merchant acquisition, digital payments, banking sales, or NBFC sales are encouraged to apply.

Compensation

₹4 LPA fixed salary plus performance bonus of up to ₹1 lakh annually, subject to applicable performance criteria.
