Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and autonomous **Field Service Engineer (FSE)** to join our service team. In this role, you will be the face of our company, responsible for the installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of our cutting\-edge medical device equipment within hospitals, clinical laboratories, and imaging centers.
The ideal candidate possesses strong electro\-mechanical and networking troubleshooting skills, combined with the empathy and communication required to support healthcare professionals under high\-pressure situations.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Service \& Support
- **Install \& Upgrade:** Execute complex, high\-purity installations and hardware/software upgrades of medical devices according to manufacturer specifications and regulatory guidelines.
- **Maintenance \& Repair:** Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electro\-mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on\-site. Perform scheduled Preventative Maintenance (PM) to ensure equipment uptime.
- **IT \& Networking:** Configure system connectivity, ensuring seamless integration with hospital networks, PACS, LIS, or Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
Customer Relations \& Compliance
- **Customer Support:** Serve as the primary point of contact for hospital biomedical engineers, laboratory managers, and clinical staff. Manage expectations and defuse high\-stress situations regarding equipment downtime.
- **Documentation \& Compliance:** Complete detailed service reports, track inventory/parts usage, and document all activities within the CRM/FSM system in strict compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and HIPAA regulations.
- **User Training:** Provide basic operational and technical training to hospital staff and clinical users upon installation or major repairs.
Job Qualifications \& RequirementsEducation \& Experience
- **Degree/Certification:** Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related technical discipline. *Equivalent military training (e.g., BMET, electronics) is highly valued.*
- **Experience:** 1\-2 years of experience servicing complex electro\-mechanical equipment (direct experience with medical devices or diagnostic imaging is a major plus).

Technical \& Soft Skills
- Strong ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical blueprints.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, patient simulators).
- Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DICOM, HL7\).
- Exceptional communication skills—ability to explain complex technical issues to non\-technical hospital staff.
Physical \& Logistics Requirements
- **Travel:** Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory , including occasional overnight stays.
- **On\-Call:** Ability to participate in a rotating on\-call schedule (weekends/evenings) to support emergency hospital needs.
- **Credentialing:** Ability to meet hospital vendor credentialing requirements (including up\-to\-date immunizations and background checks).
Pay: From ₹18,000\.00 per month
