We are an innovative, fast\-growing SaaS startup building software products that drive business efficiency. We are looking for a highly organized and reliable Accountant \& Administrative Executive to act as the backbone of our daily operations. In this dual role, you will ensure our office runs smoothly while maintaining tight control over financial operations, statutory compliance, and international audit trails.
You will take ownership of the Chennai office's administrative and facility management while driving core accounting tasks. This includes managing day\-to\-day expenses, tracking software subscription revenue, processing payroll and incentives, and acting as the primary liaison for statutory auditors in both India and the USA.
- *Financial Operations \& Revenue Tracking**
- Maintain accurate records of all revenue generated from SaaS products, tracking subscriptions and renewals.
- Calculate, track, and disburse partner commissions accurately and on time.
- Process performance\-based incentives for internal sales and support teams.
- Manage end\-to\-end accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments, utility bills, and employee expense reimbursements.
- Establish clear financial workflows and secure audit trails for all incoming and outgoing funds.
- *Audit Coordination \& Statutory Compliance**
- Act as the central point of contact for external audit teams in both India and the USA to facilitate smooth periodic filings.
- Manage and process all statutory compliances including PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and GST filings.
- Monitor changes in local and international government regulations to ensure the company remains fully compliant at all times.
- *Office Administration \& Facility Management**
- Oversee daily office infrastructure and facility operations to ensure a safe, productive, and well\-maintained work environment.
- Manage and supervise housekeeping personnel and external facility vendors.
- Handle procurement of office supplies, IT hardware, and external services while optimizing costs.
- Maintain an up\-to\-date, accurate register of all physical and digital company assets.
- *Qualifications \& Skills**
- 2 – 4 years of hands\-on experience in a combined accounting, finance, and administration role.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of Indian statutory laws (PF, ESI, GST, TDS) and general awareness of US financial filing requirements.
- Hands\-on experience with modern accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or Tally, along with strong spreadsheet proficiency.
- Ability to thrive in a fast\-paced startup environment, taking ownership of tasks with minimal supervision.
- Strong focus on operational accuracy, data integrity, and maintaining precise financial records.
