### **Role Overview**

We are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Controller to lead financial controllership, cost optimization, financial planning and analysis (FP\&A), and business finance. The role will focus on strengthening financial controls, improving profitability, managing cash flow, and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth and decision\-making.

Candidates with experience in E\-commerce, Retail, D2C, FMCG, Consumer Products, or Distribution will be preferred.

### **Key Responsibilities**

• *1\. Financial Controllership \& Reporting**

• Manage end\-to\-end accounting, financial closing, and reporting.
• Review P\&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, MIS, provisions, and reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with Ind AS and applicable accounting standards.

• *2\. Cost Control \& Profitability**

• Drive cost optimization across procurement, imports, logistics, marketing, operations, and manpower.
• Monitor budgets, identify cost variances, and implement corrective measures.
• Analyse product, channel, and business\-level profitability to improve margins.
• Evaluate the financial impact of business initiatives and investments.

• *3\. FP\&A and Business Finance**

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and rolling financial projections.
• Conduct Budget vs. Actual analysis and identify key business performance drivers.
• Develop financial models, scenario analysis, and business cases for management decisions.
• Track revenue, margins, operating expenses, and profitability.
• Partner with business teams to support pricing, expansion, procurement, and investment decisions.

• *4\. Working Capital \& Cash Flow Management**

• Manage cash flow forecasts, liquidity, collections, payables, and working capital.
• Improve cash conversion cycles and optimize fund utilization.
• Monitor inventory efficiency and working capital requirements.

• *5\. Audit, Taxation \& Compliance**

• Manage statutory, internal, and tax audits.
• Ensure timely GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
• Strengthen internal financial controls, governance, and audit readiness.

• *6\. Process Improvement \& Team Management**

• Establish finance policies, SOPs, and robust internal controls.
• Drive automation and process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead and mentor the finance team while ensuring strong financial discipline.

### **Required Skills**

• Strong expertise in financial controllership, FP\&A, cost management, and business finance.
• Hands\-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and profitability analysis.
• Sound knowledge of Ind AS, taxation, audits, and statutory compliance.
• Strong understanding of working capital and cash flow management.
• Advanced MS Excel skills; exposure to Power BI is an advantage.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Tally.
• Strong analytical, commercial, problem\-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

### **Qualification \& Experience**

• **Qualification:** Chartered Accountant (CA) – Qualified or Semi\-Qualified.
• **Experience:** 8–10 years in Finance \& Accounts, Financial Controllership, FP\&A, Cost Control, or Business Finance.
• Experience in E\-commerce, Retail, D2C, FMCG, Consumer Products, or Distribution is preferred.
