Job Description – Finance Executive

Job Summary
We are looking for a detail\-oriented and experienced Finance Executive with at least 4 years of hands\-on experience in accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC compliances, return filing, payroll accounting, and financial reconciliations. The candidate should ensure timely compliance with statutory regulations while maintaining accurate financial records.
Accounting \& Finance
· Maintain day\-to\-day accounting transactions.
· Prepare and maintain books of accounts.
· Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
· Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
· Prepare journal entries, ledgers, and trial balance.
· Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
· Prepare MIS reports and financial statements for management.
· Monitor cash flow and working capital.
· Assist in budgeting and financial planning.
GST Compliance
· Prepare and file monthly and annual GST returns (GSTR\-1, GSTR\-3B, GSTR\-9, etc.).
· Reconcile Input Tax Credit (ITC) with GSTR\-2B.
· Handle GST notices, assessments, and departmental queries.
· Ensure timely GST payments and compliance.
· Maintain GST records and documentation.
Income Tax \& TDS
· Deduct and deposit TDS within statutory timelines.
· File TDS returns (24Q, 26Q, etc.).
· Generate and issue Form 16 and Form 16A.
· Reconcile TDS with Form 26AS.
· Coordinate with auditors for tax\-related matters.
· Support Income Tax return preparation and assessments.
Statutory Compliance
· Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST, and other statutory regulations.
· Coordinate with statutory, internal, GST, and tax auditors.
· Maintain statutory registers and compliance calendars.
· Handle ROC filings and related documentation where applicable.
· Ensure timely payment of statutory dues.
Payroll \& Compliance
· Verify payroll accounting entries.
· Process salary accounting and reimbursements.
· Reconcile payroll with finance records.
· Coordinate with HR for statutory deductions and payroll compliance.
Financial Reporting
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
· Analyze financial performance and identify variances.
· Prepare management reports and dashboards.
· Support audit schedules and documentation.
Audit \& Documentation
· Coordinate statutory, internal, tax, and GST audits.
· Maintain proper financial documentation.
· Prepare audit schedules and supporting documents.
· Resolve audit observations within timelines.
Vendor \& Banking Management
· Process vendor payments.
· Monitor receivables and follow up on collections.
· Manage banking transactions and reconciliations.
· Coordinate with banks for documentation and financial requirements.
Internal Controls
· Ensure adherence to financial policies and SOPs.
· Monitor compliance with internal financial controls.
· Identify and recommend process improvements.
· Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Required Skills
· Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.
· Experience in GST return filing and reconciliation.
· Hands\-on experience with ROC compliance and statutory filings.
· Cost management and knowledge of the Companies Act, 2013\.
· Knowledge of financial statements and accounting standards.
· Excellent understanding of Accounts Payable and Receivable.
· Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
· Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
· High attention to detail and accuracy.
· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Technical Skills
· Tally Prime / Busy / Zoho Books / ERP Software
· Microsoft Excel (Advanced)
· MS Office
· GST Portal
· Income Tax Portal
· MCA/ROC Portal
· Accounting ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred)
Qualification
· Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com)
· M.Com / MBA (Finance) preferred
· CA Inter / CMA Inter will be an added advantage
Preferred Experience
· Minimum 4 years of experience in Finance \& Accounts.
· Experience in handling end\-to\-end accounting and statutory compliance.
· Experience working with CA firms, SMEs, or corporate finance teams.
· Exposure to audits, taxation, and financial reporting.
