Founding Backend Engineer

Clinzo Healthcare is an early\-stage AI\-powered healthtech startup building technology to make healthcare more accessible and affordable. We are currently developing our MVP and are looking for a founding backend engineer who wants to build meaningful products from day one.

This is a high\-ownership role where you'll work directly with the founder and help shape the technical foundation of the company.

Important: This is an unpaid founding contributor position for the initial 6 months while we build and validate our product. Outstanding contributors may be invited to join the core team, with the possibility of equity subject to company progress and mutual agreement. Compensation and equity cannot be guaranteed.Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services
• Develop secure REST APIs
• Design and optimize databases
• Build authentication and authorization systems
• Integrate third\-party healthcare and AI services
• Write clean, maintainable, and well\-documented code
• Collaborate on system architecture and technical decisions
• Participate in code reviews and testing
• Deploy and maintain backend infrastructure
• Help establish engineering best practices
